Creative Bladers isn’t just about skating, streetwear, or culture — it’s about people. Behind every project, there’s a story, and this one is mine. My name is Andy Durge, founder of Creative Bladers. This community and brand grew out of my passion for skating, creativity, and the belief that self-expression should never have limits.

From Beverwijk to Building a Movement
I, Andy Durge, was born in Beverwijk, a small city in the Netherlands. Like many kids in the early 2000s, I discovered inline skating as more than just a hobby — it was freedom. The streets became my playground, and every session was a chance to push limits, fall, get up, and try again.
Skating gave me something no other sport could: a sense of community, creativity, and pure self-expression. That energy stayed with me, even when I wasn’t on wheels anymore.

Life Beyond Skating
A few years ago, I stopped skating myself. Life shifted, and three years passed without me strapping on my blades. But the culture never left me. I, Andy Durge, realized that skating wasn’t just about tricks or competitions — it was about belonging, style, and the mindset to create something out of nothing.
That’s when Creative Bladers was born. It became my way to stay connected to the culture and to inspire others, even if I wasn’t skating every day anymore.

The Vision of Creative Bladers
Creative Bladers stands on six values: Creativity, Freedom, Community, Boldness, Authenticity, and Expression. These values aren’t just words — they’re the DNA of everything we do. Whether it’s writing blogs, designing skatewear, or sharing stories online, the goal is always the same: to give skaters and creatives a voice.
We’re not just selling gear — we’re shaping a lifestyle. A movement that says, “This is who we are, unapologetically.”
(If you want to dive deeper into this vision, check out our blog on Why Skating Isn’t Just a Sport, It’s a Lifestyle).

Andy Durge’s Creative Projects
Skating isn’t the only way I express myself. I’ve always been someone who builds, creates, and reinvents. One of my biggest side projects right now is customizing my car — a Kia Picanto with a full chameleon wrap, custom sound system and more.
To me, this isn’t just about cars. It’s the same philosophy as skating: taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary. Creativity is everywhere — whether it’s on wheels, in fashion, or even under the hood.

Looking Forward
The future of Creative Bladers is about connection. More blogs, more collaborations, and more ways to bring skaters together — both online and offline. I see Creative Bladers as more than a brand. It’s a community. A place where passion meets culture, where stories are shared, and where style speaks louder than words.
And this is just the beginning.

Outro
At the end of the day, Creative Bladers is personal. It’s my story, my vision, but also yours if you choose to be part of it. I’m not perfect, but I’m always myself — and that’s exactly the energy I, Andy Durge, want this brand to carry.
Because skating isn’t just movement. It’s creativity in motion.
